Doris Friedman, Chair Judge Friedman is a retired senior justice of the Town of Greenburgh. Judge Friedman has been engaged in the practice of law since 1957. She served as a town justice for the Town of Greenburgh from 1998 - 2011, and prior to that was one of the justices of the Village of Tarrytown for sixteen years. Judge Friedman obtained her Bachelor's of Arts degree from Tufts University, and her JD from Boston University School of Law. Her Honor is a mediator and founder of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation. a founder and former Board Member of the Westchester Community Action Program, and the Tarrytown Community Opportunity Program. She has served on many boards, including, but not limited to, My Sister's Place. Westchester Children's Association, the Westchester Red Cross, and others. She has received numerous awards, including Women of Excellence from the Yonkers Chamber of Commerce, two NAACP Humanitarian Awards. the Red Cross Humanitarian Award. the Drum Major Award from the Dr. Martin Luther King Legacy Committee, the UJA Federation, jointly with her late husband, Samuel J. Friedman. Currently, her Honor is an Adjunct Professor at Mercy College and a private practicing attorney in litigation and mediation.
Craig Zumsteg Mr. Zumsteg has lived many places, but has called Greenburgh home since 2014. He has spent his recent years as a house-husband and father of two young children, but makes the time to be active in the community and at his children’s school. He holds a Fine Arts degree in photography from the University of Arizona. Mr. Zumsteg can count on one hand the times he has met someone who was after him in the alphabet.
Christopher R. Cuomo, Esq. Mr. Cuomo, a Greenburgh resident since 2016, is an attorney licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut. He is currently serving as the Public Administrator of Westchester County where he acts as the administrator of estates for Westchester County residents that pass away without next of kin. In addition to this, he is an Adjunct Professor at Berkeley College and Mercy College where he is a member of the Legal Studies Advisory Committee. Mr. Cuomo is also on the Board of Directors for the Columbian Lawyers Association of Westchester County. Since becoming a resident of Greenburgh, Mr. Cuomo has served on the Ardsley Increased Enrollment Committee, Ridgewood Committee, and is an Ardsley Little League Coach. What he enjoys most, is spending time with his wife and two children.
