Customer notices will be mailed to all residents announcing the program. Access to homes will be necessary to install the new water meter and reading equipment. All water meters are located inside of the home. The installation process takes about 20 minutes to complete during which water service interruption will occur for five to ten minutes. NMS Installers will be soliciting door to door. If no one is home a notice will be left at the property to call and schedule an appointment. Customers are asked to secure loose pets, and to make sure that meter area is clear of stored items.
National Metering Services, Inc. is responsible for the system integration, supply of material and overall project management.
The water meters (Trident T-10) and radio equipment (R450) being installed are manufactured by the Neptune Technology Group and are supplied by RIO Supply. For more product information, please follow the preceding links.
All National Metering Services, Inc. employees are in uniform and have proper identification. All installers have had background checks completed by the State Police prior to employment.
All customers affected by this program will be direct mailed by National Metering Services, Inc.
