THANK YOU, BOBBY LANCE ,composer of Aretha Franklin's hit song" The House that Jack Built",for teaching students music at RJ Bailey (he's retiring at end of the year)--his son, a Woodlands HS graduate is also a terrific composer and musician
Bobby Lance, one of the most popular teachers at the R.J. Bailey School, (Greenburgh Central School district) will be retiring from teaching at the end of the school year. Bobby wrote Aretha Franklin's hit song "The House that Jack Built". After Bobby steps down from teaching, he will continue to compose and perform. His son, Mitch Lance, who graduated from Woodlands High School, is also a terrific artist and composer. I invited his son to be a guest on my WVOX radio show. We talk about Mitch’s music, his experiences at Berklee College of Music, one of his viral music videos, and the music business. And we also talked about his father.
