In recent weeks we have highlighted the significant role the Odell House on Ridge Road in Hartsdale played in the Revolutionary War. WE're all very excited about the agreement to turn the house over to the town and about our plans to restore the house as a living museum so students and members of the community will be able to appreciate the role Greenburgh played in our nation's history.
Tomorrow, Sunday, at 1 PM there will be a walk commemorating the Road to Freedom. I've attended some of the previous walks - it's always a great event. If any of your children are taking social studies courses this coming year and if they are going to be studying American history - the walk tomorrow will give them a head start and make this part of our history more meaningful. Hope to see you tomorrow!
